Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an S-shaped pantile which has an allowance for fitting position, has enhanced workability, and minimizes rain leaking due to blow-back.SOLUTION: A S-shape pantile 10 according to this invention is constituted in such a way that: it comprises a trough 11 and an adjacent crest part 12; the width of the plan view profile of the trough 11 gradually narrows in the downstream direction; the mean curvature radius of the front side of the section of the trough 11 gradually reduces in the downstream direction; the width of the plan view profile of the crest part 12 gradually increases in the downstream direction; the mean curvature radius of the front side of the section of the crest part 12 gradually increases in the downstream direction; and a downward protruding wall 16 is formed at the bottom in the downstream section. The bottom surface of the downward protruding wall 16 is formed with an S-shape section. An S-shaped parallel surface 15 with a profile matching the bottom surface of the downward protrusion wall 16 is formed with a specific width in the upstream-and-downstream direction. The upstream-and-downstream width of the S-shape parallel surface 15 is greater than that of the downward protruding wall 16.
