Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of drastic reduction in construction cost and prevention of a collapse of a seashore levee, and to make the seashore levee structurally tenacious.SOLUTION: A seashore levee comprises: a levee body 10 of an earth structure; and hard layers 20-22 for covering the levee body 10. Scouring prevention bodies 30 and 40 formed in a flexible sheet or with a honeycomb structure are selectively laid on a back toe-of-slope part 14 of the levee body 10.
