Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems, for example, in a bookbinding device producing a saddle-stitched book, following to acceleration of bookbinding and suppression of providing a defective book, problems such as bending of a corner part, namely, a signature receives wind therefore its small port side is bent, or the small port side is bent in an external part printing process, namely distribution of defective books caused by bending generated on a small port side of the signature is solved.SOLUTION: A fixing member (clamp) 8 for fixing a saddle-stitching body 13 of a small port trimmer part in a three-side trimmer of the bookbinding device comprises detection means 14, 15 for detecting bending generated on a small port side of the saddle-stitching body.
