Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain the freshness of meat, fresh fish and shellfishes, vegetables, and moist food in their remote distance transportion and to absorb the exuding liquids exuding from such food, more particularly the exuding liquids contg. the salts exuding from the fresh fish and shellfishe.
CONSTITUTION: The salt water absorbing sheet is constituted by simultaneously housing a highly water absorptive resin and ceramics having an antimicrobial material intended to maintain freshness into a bag consisting of paper laminated with a perforated polymer sheet. The salt water ice pack is constituted by further absorbing salt water into this sheet and freezing the salt water.
