Title:
SAMPLING TUBE AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3844269
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a measurement from being disturbed due to a contamination in a sampling tube by a method wherein a gas-permeable plug is made of an inert material and a non-inert material does not exist inside the sampling tube.
SOLUTION: A sampling tube 1 is composed of a glass tube 2 having two closed ends 3, and an adsorbent 4 is filled into the pipe 2 over a part of its whole length. The adsorbent 4 is restrained between two gas-permeable plugs 5. The plugs 5 are made of a completely inert material, and a non-inert material such as, e.g. a glass wool plug does not exist inside the sampling tube 1. For example, every plug 5 is made of a metal so as to be constituted as a sieve. A suitable metal which can manufacture every plug 5 is, e.g. platina, gold, silber, copper or stainelss steel, or an alloy whose insert characteristic is equal to that of the metal. Every plug 5 is constituted as a lid which is provided with a gas-permeable edge 5a and with a cylindrical face 5b which is extended perpendicularly to it.
