To provide a sanitary washing device which is equipped with a hot water tank having high heat insulation efficiency.
A sanitary washing device includes: a body which can be installed on a toilet bowl; a washing nozzle 220 which is installed to the body so as to be movable forward and backward and jets washing water toward the private parts of a human body; and a hot water tank 500 which is incorporated in the body and heats and stores the washing water supplied to the washing nozzle 220. A heat insulating material 560 is stuck to the almost whole area of the outer side surfaces and outer top surface of the hot water tank 500, and the bottom surface of the hot water tank 500 is installed so as to hold the heat insulating material 560 between the bottom surface and a bottom plate 260 of the body, whereby the almost whole area of the outer surface of the hot water tank 500 is covered with the heat insulating material 560 to obtain a high heat insulating effect. Especially, in the bottom surface whose temperature change is larger than that of the side surfaces and the top surface, an installation state of the bottom surface can be maintained without influence of the temperature change by holding the heat insulating material 560 between the bottom surface and the bottom plate 260 and a stable heat insulating effect can be obtained over a long period of time.
