PURPOSE: To prevent saw plate materials from being transferred plurally upward together so as to be transferred in the state of being separated positively one by one by forming each suction member in such a way as to be capable of individually advancing/receding in the orthogonal direction to the sucked plate face direction of the saw plate materials.

CONSTITUTION: A saw plate material separating transfer device is provided with a storage part 3 capable of storing plural saw plate materials W in the stacked state, and a transfer part 4 capable of transferring the saw plate materials W by suction-separating the uppermost layer saw plate material W upward one by one by suction members 4. The suction members 14 are disposed plurally in the parallel state in the logitudinal direction of the saw plate material W, and each suction member 14 is disposed in such a way as to be capable of individually advancing/receding in the orthogonal direction to the sucked plate face direction of the saw plate materials W. With this advancing/receding action, the saw plate materials W are put in longitudinally warping action. The saw plate materials W are thereby prevented from being transferred plurally upward together so as to be transferred in the state of being separated positively one by one.
