Abstract:
To provide a scaffold for intermediate beams in a hoistway of an elevator that allows a safe and smooth maintaining work of a hall push button or the like provided between elevators disposed side by side.
The scaffold 8 for work in an intermediate part in the hoistway of the elevator comprises a covering member 9 for covering the upper surface of the intermediate beams 5 in the hoistway and support members 10 and 10A for supporting the covering member 9 on the intermediate beams 5. The scaffold 8 is formed by folding one steel plate in a substantially U shape so that the support members 10 and 10A and the covering member 9 can engage with the intermediate beams 5 from the upside.
