Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the scanning type optical microscope small-sized on the whole by obtaining a spot light and an observation light for visual observation by one light source.
SOLUTION: This microscope has 1st optical paths 32-34, and 40-50 for generating the spot light from the light emitted by a light source 31 and scanning a sample with the spot light. Further, the microscope has 2nd optical paths 36-39 for guiding the light of the 1st optical paths by an optical fiber 37 and irradiating the sample with it as a light source for visual observation and an optical switching means 34 which switches the 1st and 2nd optical paths.
