Title:
TOP-LIGHT FLUORESCENCE MICROSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3699761
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a highly efficient differential interference observation and a top-light fluorescence observation at the same time and to obtain a fluorescence image with high contrast.
SOLUTION: This microscope is equipped with a 1st optical modulating member 2 which is provided for a transmission illuminating optical system and modulates transmitted light and a 2nd optical modulating member 12 which is provided for an observation optical system more on the side of an objective 7 than a sample 6, and the observation optical system is equipped with a top- light fluorescent illuminating optical system. In this case, the 1st optical modulating member 2 has a peak of transmissivity on a longer-wavelength side than fluorescence wavelength and the 2nd optical modulating member 12 selectively modulates only wavelength transmitted through the 1st optical modulating member.
