This scraper conveyor comprises a grain conveying passage disposed in a casing, a driving sprocket, a driven sprocket, a chain that is suspended between both sprockets and turns endlessly in the casing, an idler that meshes with the chain running on the upper side, rotates, and supports the chain's own weight, a supporting means for moving following the chain running on the lower side and supporting the chain's own weight between the grain conveying passage and the chain, and a plurality of scrapers that are mounted to the chain, scrape a predetermined amount of grains supplied onto the conveying passage, and move them laterally. The supporting means for supporting the chain's own weight is constituted of the scrapers.
