Abstract:
To provide a screw holding structure capable of improving the visibility of whether a terminal screw is positioned at a holding position.SOLUTION: A screw holding structure includes: a housing; a terminal portion disposed in the housing and having a female screw portion; a male screw portion that can be screwed into the female screw portion; and a terminal screw having a head having a diameter larger than that of the male screw portion, a neck axially connecting the male screw portion and the head, and an annular washer disposed around the neck. The terminal screw is movable within the housing between a connection position where the male screw portion is screwed into the female screw portion to be connected to the terminal portion and a holding position which is axially separated from the terminal portion. The washer includes a first guide protrusion that protrudes toward the head of the terminal screw. The housing includes a first guide groove in which the first guide protrusion slides when the terminal screw moves between the connection position and the holding position. The screw retention structure further includes a display portion that provides different visual indications when the terminal screw is located at the connection position and located at the retaining position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
