Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily fit a thermal switch to a sealed electric compressor and ensure the protective action.
CONSTITUTION: A sealed electric compressor has a motor 6 and a compressor 2 in a housing 1. A thermal switch 14 is airtightly fitted to the discharge side housing 1B of the sealed electric compressor via a terminal board 13 by welding to obtain a good heat exchange relation with a refrigerant. The thermal switch 14 is fitted to the discharge side housing 1B, its fitting is facilitated, and trouble of temperature detection due to the effect of a suction refrigerant are eliminated in the low-pressure housing type sealed electric compressor.
