To provide a sealing device capable of transferring paste to an envelope and folding a flap thereof, with a simple configuration.
The sealing device 1A is placed and used on a table 100 together with an envelope 10, and includes a paste transferring mechanism 2A that transfers paste to a flap 11 of the envelope 10 by an operation of a handle 20a and a folding mechanism 3A that folds the flap 11 in conjunction with the movement of the paste transferring mechanism 2A operated by the handle 20a. The reciprocating movement of the handle 20a causes a transferring stamp 21A to go up and down so that the paste is transferred to the flap 11 of the envelope 10, and the retract movement of the transferring stamp 21A from the flap 11 of the envelope 10 causes the transferring stamp 21A to swing so that the paste is cut.
