Abstract:
To provide a sealing structure which can reliably seal a component in a base member with a simple structure, and to provide a sealing method.SOLUTION: A base member 1 includes: a recessed part 4 equipped with a component 2; and a peripheral edge step part 5 formed so as to be along the inner side of a wall part 3 enclosing the recessed part 4. The component 2 has: a component body part 6 disposed at a center; and a flange part 7 provided at the outer side of the component body part 6. The flange part 7 of the component 2 has a step-like pocket 8 which is connected with the peripheral edge step part 5 of the base member 1 and filled with a sealant S with the peripheral edge step part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
