Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a target from being lost due to the differential loading of a sum beam and an SLS beam in the second search radar device of electronic scanning type.
CONSTITUTION: This radar device is equipped with an SLS power distributor 5 for distributing an SLS signal in two directions, a sum/differential/SLS beam concurrent synthesizing power distributor 4 for distributing a sum beam signal, a differential signal beam and an SLS beam, a Butler matrix circuit 3 for transmitting a signal from column array aerials 1a to 1g for suppressing the side lobe of a sum beam pattern 10, and transmitting an SLS beam signal from a single column array aerial 1p for suppressing the back lobe of the sum beam pattern 10, and high-frequency selectors 2a to 2h.
