To provide a security camera system installed inside an elevator car that can ensure the anti-noise property of a multiconductor flat traveling cable with excellent flexibility.
This security camera system installed inside an elevator car transmits a video signal from a camera 2 to a video recorder 6 via a twisted pair line 9 of a multiconductor flat traveling cable and a braid shield line 9b of the twisted pair line 9 is connected to a ground 2b on the camera 2 and a ground 6b on the video recorder 6 respectively and an insulating coating cable core 9a1 is connected to a transmission buffer 2a and a receive buffer 6a respectively with the core 9a1 but another insulating coating cable core 9a2 that is twisted with the 9a1 is not connected to either of them. Thus, a dummy coaxial cable is formed and inverter noise is blocked by the braid shield line 9b without being guided to the cable core 9a1, which enabling obtaining a good SN ratio.
