Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment assembling method and device which can assemble long segments having integrated long sides.
SOLUTION: This segment assembling method for assembling the side wall of a rectangular tunnel by a segment feeder 19 adapted to grasp a segment carried in an existing tunnel and feed the same to the rear drum side of a shield machine, and an elector 17 adapted to grasp the segment fed from the segment feeder 19 to be assembled in the tunnel inner wall, includes a turning process of grasping a long side segment by the segment feeder 19 and turning the same with one end of the long side segment adjacent to the inner wall of the existing tunnel 20, and a process of grasping the long side segment by the elector 17 after the turning process and moving the long side segment with the segment feeder 19 to be aligned.
