Abstract:

To provide reliable self-propelled type electronic equipment capable of preventing dust or foreign matter from entering an interior as necessary.

Self-propelled type electronic equipment includes a housing, a propelling section which propels the housing on a base surface where the housing is placed, an air suction port formed in a part of the housing so as to introduce air into the housing, and an air suction opening/closing section for air suction which opens and closes the air suction port. The air suction opening/closing section has a structure comprising a cover body for air suction which is provided movably to and away from the housing so as to open and close the air suction port, and an air suction cover body driving section which moves the air suction cover body to open and close the air suction port, and opens and closes the air suction port by moving the air suction cover body.
