To determine whether a self-traveling device correctly travels in accordance with an intentional algorithm from a traveling time in a designated area.
The self-traveling device is provided with a traveling time measurement part 12 which measures the traveling time of the self-traveling device, a traveling time accumulation part 13 which accumulates the traveling time, and an abnormality determination part 10 which compares the latest traveling time accumulated in the traveling time accumulation part 13 with the traveling time of this time. Consequently, when the difference of fixed value or larger exists in the time compared, it is determined that the self-traveling device does not travel in accordance with the intentional algorithm, and abnormality detection is possible which estimates that the difference is caused by the abnormality occurring to a sensor or a traveling means.
