To provide a semiconductive member such as a charging member, transfer member, pressure fixing roller and antistatic member having small environmental dependency of an electric resistance.
The semiconductive member 3 comprises a conductive rubber layer 3b, an intermediate layer 3c, a resistance control layer 3d using polyurethane ionomer having ionic segment in a molecule as a constituting material, and a surface layer 3e sequentially covering an outer periphery of a conductive base 3a. As the segment, it is selected from a sulfonic acid group, carboxyl group and tertiary amino group or their salts. Glass transition temperature of the ionomer is 30°C or lower, and volume resistivity is 106 to 109Ωcm. Such ionomer is obtained by normal urethane reaction from organic polyisocyanate and long chain polyol or further chain extender, and a molecular weight of the polyol is preferably 300 to 10000.
