Abstract:

To provide a semiconductor memory of low electric current consumption.

The semiconductor memory having an input buffer (202) which performs buffering by inputting write data from the outside, and control circuits (501 to 506) which disable the input buffer during reading operation, and enable the input buffer when read data mask signals are inputted thereafter, is provided.
