Abstract:
To provide a server device for saving power of a server device and improving security.
When a communication terminal (4) transmits link establishment request information to an image transmission server (1) by using electronic mail (step S1), the image transmission server (1) confirms the validity of a sender address (step S2), and turns on the power of a radio LAN (11) (step S3). Also, the image transmission server (1) generates address information necessary for the communication terminal (4) connected through the Internet to the image transmission server (1) to receive image data in an URL format (step S7), and transmits the generated URL included in electronic mail to the communication terminal (4) (step 8).
