To provide a servo amplifier including a heat sink with an excellent heat radiation effect.
A servo amplifier includes a heat generation source and a heat sink which is thermally connected to the heat generation source and utilizes natural convection to dissipate heat from the heat generation source to a circumference. The heat sink has a plurality of fins formed to define a plurality of flow passages for a fluid flowing from below to above. Each flow passage extends over between a lowermost part operating as an air suction part and an uppermost part operating as an exhausting part. Each flow passage has a length smaller than a perpendicular dimension of a part where the fins are formed. Further, a lowermost part of each flow passage is arranged horizontally apart so as not to be arranged perpendicularly above uppermost parts of other flow passages.
