Abstract:
To provide a shape control system of rolled stock which maintains an actual shape to a target shape by appropriately switching the state of a valve of a coolant spray even when a reverse phenomenon occurs.SOLUTION: Coolant level control for modifying a level which decides a proportion of holding time of ON-state of a valve occupied in a control period of shape control is performed. In the coolant level control, further, first restriction or second restriction is selected based on comparison between a target plate thickness and a plate thickness threshold. A difference between the first restriction and the second restriction is such a point that the second restriction limits lowering to a lower side level of a modification level as compared to the first restriction. In the coolant level control, further, it is decided whether a reverse phenomenon occurs or not by using an estimation model. When it is judged that the reverse phenomenon occurs, it is judged that the target plate thickness is above a plate thickness threshold. When the former is above the latter, the plate thickness threshold is updated by using the target plate thickness in a zone in which it is decided that the reverse phenomenon occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
