To faithfully reproduce a predetermined pattern, in a shaping sheet for forming a resin film having an uneven shape by casting constituted by providing a releasable resin layer having a shaped pattern comprising an uneven shape on one surface of a substrate sheet, by forming the flat part of the shaped pattern so as to have an uneven surface with a specific average roughness.

A release sheet is formed by forming a resin film having an uneven shape from a soln. or hot-melt compsn. of a reactive resin or thermoplastic resin by casting by using a shaping sheet 10 wherein a releasable resin layer 2 having a shaped pattern 3 comprising an uneven shape is provided on one surface of a substrate sheet 1. At this time, the flat part of the shaped pattern 3 is formed so as to having a fine uneven surface 31 with an arithmetic mean roughness of (30.0-1.5) μmRa to form the release sheet wherein the releasable resin layer of the substrate sheet has a fine uneven surface with an arithmetic means roughness of 2.0-0.3 μmRa. As the substrate sheet, paper such as unbleached kraft paper or unglazed kraft paper or a nonwoven fabric comprising polyester or the like is designated.
