Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding processing device which can suppress that a printing area is cut out and becomes unreadable, and can improve binding strength.SOLUTION: A stapler (sheet binding processing device) 40 includes: a first blade 73 which forms an insertion piece 90 by forming first cuts 91 on respective two sides, with one corner part held, of a paper bundle; a second blade 74 which forms a second cut 92 for inserting the insertion piece 90 so as to extend in a first direction along a direction from one of the two sides to the other one with the first cuts 91 formed; and a folding member 75 which folds back the insertion piece 90 and inserts into an engagement hole 74b of the second blade 74. In response to movement of pulling out the second blade 74 from the paper bundle, the insertion piece 90 inserted in the engagement hole 74b passes through the second cut 92 together with the second blade 74 in a thickness direction of the paper bundle, and the paper bundle is bound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
