Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet bundle binding process device capable of easily removing a sheet from a sheet bundle having been processed by a no-staple binding process.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A first binding process is performed in which a corner part Sc of a first sheet bundle Sb1 accumulated on a process tray 24 is press-fitted and deformed between press-fitting teeth 54, 55 of a no-staple binding device 51. A second binding process is performed in which, after combined by a first binding force, a corner part of a second sheet bundle Sb2 in which an additional sheet Sh2 is accumulated on the first sheet bundle is press-fitted and deformed between press-fitting teeth of the same no-staple binding device, for combination by a second binding force which is weaker than the first binding force. Thus, an additional sheet is easily removed from the second sheet bundle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
