PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wasting of a sheet and a time when a sheet displacement is detected.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device 10 includes a main conveyance path 51, a register roller pair 54, a detection part 58, a sub conveyance path 52, a flap 57, and a control part. For example, a form is used as a sheet. The register roller pair conveys the form after a registration operation is performed. The sub conveyance path branches off from the main conveyance path 51 downstream from a transfer area 39 in a form conveyance direction, and joins the main conveyance path 51 upstream from the register roller pair 54. If the form is displaced, the control part stops image formation processing on the form, and conveys the form to the register roller pair 54 via the sub conveyance path 52 so as to carry out the registration operation again.
