Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device that, when switching back a long sheet, can suppress unevenness in temperature on the sheet occurring by the sheet having an image formed on the front side being taken up, and suppress a deterioration in image quality of an image formed on the back side of the sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device comprises: sheet take-up means 118a that takes up a sheet having an image formed on one side from one end of the sheet; sheet wind-off means 118a that winds off the sheet taken up by the sheet take-up means from the other end of the sheet; and cooling means 118b that cools the sheet wound off by the sheet wind-off means before an image is formed on a surface on the opposite side of the surface having the image formed thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
