Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure delivery of bank notes, if abnormal, when take-up failure or take-in occurs, without delivering the least possible abnormal notes, when received.
SOLUTION: This unit comprises a delivery roller, a receipt stage to be moved toward the delivery roller, a payment stage provided behind the receipt stage to be moved toward the delivery roller, a driving source 63 for supplying driving force to the receipt stage and the payment stage and an elastically flexible member 112 laid between the driving source 63 and each of the receipt stage and the payment stage and elongated for applying the optimum weight to the receipt stage and the payment stage. It also has a position detecting means 128 for detecting the predetermined positions of the receipt stage and the payment stage and a weight variation control means 107 for controlling the driving source 63, controlling the variation of the elongated amount of the elastically flexible member 112 and controlling the delivery weight when the position detecting means 128 detects the predetermined positions.
