PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image formation apparatus in which sheets in a sheet feeding cassette can be taken out without being left in a cassette storage part by improving interlocking responsibility for performing a separation operation of a delivery roller in linkage with a pull-out operation of the sheet feeding cassette while avoiding increase in the size of the device.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device comprises: a first holder 35 which holds a separation roller 33, and is supported so as to be displaceable between a contact position where the separation roller 33 is brought into contact with a sheet feeding roller 32 and a separation position where the separation roller is separated from the sheet feeding roller; a second holder 34 which holds a delivery roller 31, and is supported so as to be displaceable between a contact position where the delivery roller is brought into contact with a sheet in a sheet feeding cassette 28 and a retreat position; and transfer mechanisms 100, 200 which displace the first holder from the contact position to the separation position and displace the second holder from the contact position to the retreat position in linkage with the movement at the time of pulling out the sheet feeding cassette 28 from a state of being stored in the cassette storage part 30.
