In the sheet gasket, a sheet material 5 having brittleness or plasticity in a high-temperature range is pressure-bonded on either side of a reinforcing sheet 4 made of a metal plate 4A and a plurality of claws t formed by protruding a portion of the metal plate 4A are formed on one side 4a of the reinforcing sheet 4 and the other side 4b thereof, respectively. A first claw 6(t) on one side 4a and a second claw 7(t) on the other side 4b are alternatively disposed adjacent to each other.
