Abstract:
To provide a sheet loading device that can separately control an automatic lifting operation section and a manual lifting operation section of a loading base, maintain convenience of a lifting operation of the loading base, and prevent destruction of the device.SOLUTION: This sheet loading device comprises: a tray provided with a lifting mechanism and on which a plurality of sheets can be loaded; a conveyance unit that is disposed above the tray and that conveys the sheets in a conveying direction; and a control unit that controls the height position of the tray on which the sheets conveyed by the conveyance unit are loaded via the lifting mechanism. The device further comprises, in a lifting space where the tray can be lifted, an upper limit detection sensor for detecting reaching of uppermost one of the sheets loaded on the tray to a lifting limit position, a lifting temporary stop sensor for detecting reaching of the uppermost one of the sheets loaded on the tray to a lifting temporary stop position lower than the lifting limit position, a lower limit detection sensor for detecting reaching of the tray to a lower limit position, and a lower temporary stop sensor for detecting reaching of the tray to a lower temporary stop position higher than the lower limit position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
