The sheet material adhering equipment 100 is loaded with a sheet material S whereon a toner layer 117 for adhesion is formed by a printing process unit 13 of an electrophotographic system, and makes the sheet materials S adhere to each other by heating and pressing adhesive portions wherein the toner layer 117 for adhesion is formed. The equipment has a loading tray 106 loading and holding the sheet materials S and a heating-pressing member 114 heating and pressing the adhesive portions of the sheet materials S loaded on the tray 106. The heating-pressing member 114 is made movable corresponding to the position of the adhesive portions, or the loading tray 106 is made movable corresponding to the position of the member 114. The heating-pressing member 114 makes the sheet materials S adhere to each other by heating and pressing the toner layer 117 formed between the materials S, without touching the toner layer 117 directly.
