Abstract:
To prevent deterioration in quality of deliverables by limiting an insertion of sheets that exceed a processing capacity of binding means used for a binding process, when performing manual stapling with multiple types of binding means with different processing capabilities.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device includes: a staple stapler that can perform staple processing; a stapleless stapler 52 that has a capability of stapling a number of sheets at a time smaller than the that of the staple stapler; a sheet insertion port limiter 68 that can move between an open position and a limit position and limits a thickness of a sheet bundle that can be inserted into a manual staple sheet insertion port 53 at the limit position to be thinner than at the open position; and a switching member 69 that performs switching so that when the staple stapler is located at a binding position, the sheet insertion port limiter 68 is located at the open position, and when the stapleless stapler 52 is located at the binding position, the sheet insertion port limiter 68 is located at the limit position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
