Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device capable of forming a sheet bundle used for index bookbinding.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: fold forming means 16 for forming a fold on a sheet material 4a; folding position adjusting means 14 for adjusting a position on which a fold is formed in the sheet material 4a; and storage means for overlaying and storing the plurality of sheet materials 4a (4a1-4a3) so that the folds are overlaid with each other, to form a sheet bundle. The sheet processing device further comprises control means which controls the folding position adjusting means 14 so that deviation amounts (d1-d3) of a position (L) of the fold with respect to a center part (GC) of the sheet material 4a in a direction orthogonal to the fold are different between the preceding sheet material 4a1 and a subsequent sheet material 4a2, and controls for storing the plurality of sheet materials 4a in which positions (L) of the fold with respect to the center part (GC) are different from one another by the storage means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
