Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in stacking property of a sheet bundle by suppressing occurrence of deformation of a staple at the time of additional folding or sagging of a sheet bundle end part.SOLUTION: A saddle-stitching book binding device 2 includes additional folding roller pair 261a, 262a for pressing a folding line part SB1 of a sheet bundle SB that is folded, and a unit movement mechanism 263 which moves a pressing position of the additional folding roller pair 261a, 262a along the folding line direction of the sheet bundle SB. The additional folding roller pair 261a, 262a are a pair of pressing members sandwiching the sheet bundle SB, and the pair of additional folding roller pair 261a, 262a, in the middle of movement, change an angle θ formed between the thickness direction t of the sheet bundle SB and a line Y' connecting center axes 261b1, 262f1 of the additional folding roller pair 261a, 262a.
