Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for an automatic transmission for a vehicle in which shift feeling can be favorably maintained without giving a sense of incongruity to occupants in the case where an acceleration pedal is operated to be largely returned after speed shift is started and before a clutch gets into a disconnection condition.
SOLUTION: As speed shift is started (S10), normally, engine output is reduced with priority to an operation condition of an acceleration pedal by an engine control means (S12), and a clutch is disconnected by a clutch control means (S14), but after speed shift is started and before the clutch is disconnected (S16), and when the acceleration pedal is changed for a specified quantity or more in a reduction direction (S20), the clutch is controlled to be connected by a shift stopping control means regardless of control by the engine control means and the clutch control means (S24), when engine output is controlled to a value in accordance with an operation condition of the acceleration pedal (S22).
