To provide a shock resistant DC motor that can avoid the influence on a brush attachment part of the DC motor caused by the vibration of a combustion chamber on exploding mixed gas of fuel and air by supplying air into the combustion chamber with a fan motor.
A shock resistant DC motor according to the present invention comprises brushes each attached to a ditch of a brush attachment part, which bends near the brush attachment part so as to contact with a commutator segment. Slits are provided on the brush attachment part so that an edge of the brushes engages with the slits. The upper part of the slits engaged with the edge of the brushes is coated by hard adhesive agent such as epoxide resin adhesive. Additionally, neighborhood of the brush attachment part and a bent part of the brushes are coated and bonded with elastic adhesive such as elastic silicon resin adhesive, for example.
