Title:
SHOE DRYING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09280730
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a shoe drying device which can readily dry skiing shoes and the like.

In a shoe drying device 112 which is inserted in a skiing shoe, an air passage which allows a toe portion 126 to communicate with a shin portion 130 is formed. Upon driving a motor mounted in a main body 114, an air sucked from an outside is heated by an electric heater 182. This heated air is blown off through apertures 200, 202, 230 which are formed in the toe portion 126, a bottom portion 127 and a heel portion 128 respectively to the inside of the shoe. The air of high humidity generated after such a heating operation is flows through a gap defined between an outer face of a leg portion and a shin portion 130 and an inner face of the shoe and is discharged from the opening of the shoe. In this manner, an air flow can be generated in the skiing shoe so that the high humidity air in the shoe is prevented from dwelling inside of the shoe thus enhancing the drying operation. Furthermore, the air flow which flows along the inside surface of the shoe can be generated with a relatively small amount of air.
