To provide a shrink packaging material to be mounted around a container, the shrink packaging material having a separation line so that when the shrink packaging material is removed from a container by cutting the material along the separation line, the packaging material can be easily cut along the separation line without shifting from the separation line.

The shrink packaging material 10 having a cylindrical part which shrinks at least in the peripheral direction by heating is provided with at least one separation line 11 to cut the shrink packaging material along the axial direction of the cylindrical part. The separation line comprises a discontinuous perforation line 11b and a continuous cutting line 11a with a smaller depth than the thickness of the shrinking packaging material.
