Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal output device which can perform an appropriate drive regardless of the number of loads connected with an operational amplifier and performs an operation of low power consumption, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the signal output device.
SOLUTION: The signal output device is provided with: a select circuit in which one operational amplifier is selected for one load and which permits the connection of a plurality of loads for one operational amplifier; and a select circuit control means which generates a signal determining which output terminals among the plurality of operational amplifiers are connected to the respective one of the plurality of loads and controls the select circuit by the use of the signal. It is counted how many loads are connected to the respective one of the operational amplifiers, a control signal is made on the basis of the counting and the driving ability of the operational amplifier is controlled.
