Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62113138
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance film strength and to improve dot quality, photographic characteristics, especially, contrast and fog resistance, and the like, by incorporating latex having its hydrophilic groups fixed to the surface and a nonionic surfactant in one of photographic constituent layers.

CONSTITUTION: At least one of photographic constituent layers contains the latex having its hydrophilic groups fixed to the surface in a state, such as a latex converted into a protective colloid with a polymer having a hydrophilic group, and the nonionic surfactant. As the polymer having the hydrophilic group, synthetic water-soluble polymers, embodied by formula (I), and natural water-soluble polymers are both used. As the nonionic surfactant, one example can be embodied by formula (II), and it is used generally in an amount of 0.1W1,000mg per 1m2 of the silver halide photographic sensitive material.
