Title:
SILVER HALIDE RADIOGRAPHIC FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002182331
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a high performance radiographic film which exhibits visually adaptive contrast when imaged in a radiographic imaging assembly combined with an intensifying screen.

The radiographic film has a single silver halide emulsion on each face of a film support and does not contain a particulate dye used commonly to suppress crossover. The film is rapidly processed to provide an image having visually adaptive contrast wherein upper scale contrast is ≥1.5 times the lower scale contrast. The film is useful in general radiographic imaging in which exposure and processing conditions vary in a wide range.
