Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply removable identification band, capable of attaining easy and positive identification a cable to be worked and the other cables in a dark working space, such as in a manhole during the installation and replacement of an underground power cable, and easing removal and re- attachable from/to the cable.
SOLUTION: This band includes a strip leaf spring, whose section in its cross direction is bent, when it is under a linear extension condition and which generates such an energizing force so as to wind up an object to be attached with elastic restoring force when its extension is released, and a light reflecting portion and/or a luminescence portion mounted on a leaf spring. The band is attachable to the object to be attached by winding the plate spring, and can inform a worker of what the object to be attached is, by using the light reflected by the light reflecting portion and/or light radiated from the luminescence portion.
