Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a single facer of a simple structure which can produce a single-faced corrugated fiberboard and in which noise and vibration are small by selectively producing several types of single-faced corrugated fiberboards or immediately switching to the residual corrugating roll even when the corrugat ing roll for corrugating a core sheet in a wavy state becomes defective at the time of producing the same type of the single-faced corrugated fiberboard.
CONSTITUTION: An endless belt 6 for pressing a liner S2 to a core sheet S1 glued after corrugating the sheet S1 by a pair of corrugating rolls 1 and 2 is provided between a plurality of corrugating units U1 and U2 for corrugating the sheet S1 in a wavy state. A guide pulley 8 for guiding the movement of the belt 6 is moved, the part of the belt 6 is brought into pressure contact with the rolls 1 and 2 of the units U1 and U2 in a switching manner, several types of single-faced corrugated fiberboards S3 are formed by switching the pressure contact position of the belt 6, or the same type of the single-faced corrugated fiberboards are continuously produced.
