Abstract:

To provide a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material excellent in tensile strength along a fiber longitudinal direction, to provide a carbon fiber bundle excellent in handling property and capable of providing the carbon fiber-reinforced composite material, and to provide a sizing agent for the carbon fiber.

The sizing agent for the carbon fiber contains (A) a dimer acid type epoxy resin and (B) an epoxy resin obtained by introducing an alkoxy silane compound to a hydroxy group of an epoxy resin polymer having the hydroxy group. Further provided are the carbon fiber bundle attached with the sizing agent for the carbon fiber, and the carbon fiber-reinforced composite material obtained by using the carbon fiber bundle.
