Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skirt device for a conveyor capable of exhibiting sufficient rigidity without being rolled-in even when pressed with bulk cargo and capable of being raised to a prescribed height for transfer-loading cargo to an adjacent conveyor.
SOLUTION: A chute 9 for supplying bulk cargo to a conveyor 3a is provided for free movement along the longitudinal direction of the conveyor 3a. Skirt plates 24 formed along the longitudinal direction of the conveyor 3a are disposed for free vertical movement on right and left sides 22 of the outlet of the chute 9. Parallel links 25 are provided between the skirt plates 24 and the chute 9 to move the skirt plates 24 parallel to the conveyor 3a. An actuator 28 is provided to raise and lower the skirt plates 24.
