Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a slag removing material which does not generate smoke and stimulative smell and is low in radiation heat by sticking black dye slag consisting of iron oxide to inorg. ore using glue for adhesion.

CONSTITUTION: The black dye slag consisting of the iron oxide is stuck to the inorg. ore (any of obsidian, pearl spar, pumicious sand, pumice and pearlite or a mixture composed of ≥2 kinds thereof) with the flue for adhesion (sodium silicate). As a result, the slag removing material which does not generate smoke and stimulative smell, is low in radiation heat at the time of transporting a melt and casting and is capable of improving the working environment is obtd.
